The last few days has seen Lagos the capital city of Lagos State being hit by a worrisome gridlock in major areas of the city.
This is happening a few days into the celebration of the Sallah, a muslim yearly celebration, usually celebrated three months after the feast of Eid-il-Fitri.
Although Lagos is known for traffic gridlock, but obviously not this bad. A commuter who spoke to this reporter expressed so much frustration, indicating that he has spent over five hours from Ikeja to the Island where he is meant to attend a business meeting.
For Oscar who is a beauty Therapist, the traffic situation messed his day, since he can’t get to Yaba where his company’s head office is situated.
Lagosians have really been frustrated in the last few days, but no one knows what could have a caused days of nonstop traffic gridlock in the city.
