Robin Returns?

The hearts and hopes of a million Arsenal fans were crushed when Robin van Persie controversially moved to rivals Manchester United in 2012, after one of his best seasons with the Gunners.

He finished his first season at Old Trafford netting 26 goals in 38 appearances and won his first Premier League trophy, United’s 20th overall. Alex Ferguson’s retirement seems to have destabilized the Red Devils, who have experienced a dismal season so far. According to numerous sources the squad will go through a major overhaul during the summer with many players looking for an exit. It’s rumoured Van Persie is among them and may be planning to return to his old stomping ground in North London.

It’s alleged that Van Persie has revealed that he wants to return to his old club and that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has met with his agent to discuss the possibility.Surprisingly Manchester United are said to be open to the idea.

What do you think? Is this it a good move for Arsenal?
