Lanre Tejuoso, one of the Princes of Oba Adedapo Tejuoso who is a serving Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Ogun state is leaving no stone unturned to achieve his Senatorial ambition next year. Prince Tejuoso, one of the grandsons of late Iyalode of Egbaland, Chief Mrs. Bisoye Tejuoso has indeed becomes an icon in Egba politics.
His unprecedented contributions to the election of the governor earned him a post in the cabinet. He successfully worked in three different ministries in the last three years in Ogun state. Immediately Governor Amosun assumed mantle of leadership, he appointed The Egba Oke-Ona Prince as Commissioner for Special Duties, a juicy position he enjoyed till 2012 and recorded lofty achievement in areas of infrastructures and road construction. In 2013, Prince Tejuoso was moved to Ministry of Environment to perform another magic wand which gave birth to the ‘KEEP OGUN STATE CLEAN’ project. His meritorious service to Ogun State Government also earned him another opportunity to serve in the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development, a position he occupy till date. Prince Lanre Tejuoso, a silent achiever and who should also be considered as paragon of intellect, is now nursing his unfinished Senatorial project.
This time around, Prince Tejuoso who is aspiring under the auspices of APC awarded over 1,000 youths and aged with cash of N5,000 and a new saving account under his political group called ‘ENI AFE’. The empowerment scheme took place at the premises of the state secretariat of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and the troop moved to APC secretariat to submit his nomination form where he was received by a teeming mammoth crowd and the likes of Chief Derin Adebayo and Hon. Olu Odeyemi.
