Popular Yoruba movie marketer and chairman of Zentury Pictures, Femi Adelakun, died suddenly on Wednesday, November 26,2014 at home. Adelakun, who was also a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly complained that he wasn’t feeling well when he suddenly slumped. He was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The late movie marketer died while taking his meal.
It was further gathered that before his death, his family members said the deceased had been complaining lately of some health issues.
Zentury Pictures is one of the top film distributing firms in the country.
The company has also co-produced some Yoruba movies, one of which is Fathia Balogun’s ‘Street Girls’.
It was further gathered that the late Adelakun was also a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, where he represented Afijio Constituency before his death.
