BIG HERO 6
Starring Ryan Potter, Jamie Chung, et al.
Like last week, it’s about an animated movie! The same ones who created Frozen are back with BIG hero 6! Will this movie be a hit like Frozen? For a $165 million USD movie, opening over the weekend in US cinemas with a gross of over $56 million USD might have moved it to the number one spot… considering the dismal figures movies have pulled in recent weeks, $56 million USD is not a bad figure and amazingly movie watchers scored it above “FROZEN”. But will it still leave an aftertaste in our mouths after a year like FROZEN? That I leave to time.
This movie is about a special bond that was developed between inflatable robot, Baymax and prodigy Hiro Hamada. Did their move to form a group of high-tech heroes succeed? You’ll need to watch the movie and if you already have, watch it again, you definitely will have something starring at you that you missed the first time.
On a Scale of 0 – 10, this Movie is an 8.
INTERSTELLAR
Starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathawya, et al.
Currently ruling the Nigerian BOX OFFICE with a weekend gross of over 3 million Naira! If you are in Nigeria and have not watched this movie, then like we say down here, “you are definitely on a L-O-N-G thing!” The movie is ruling the global box office and over 90% of cinemas in the world claim it is number one. From the director of Inception and dark Knight – Trilogy, Warner Bros brings to you, not just another movie, but a movie set to blow your mind. It is about a team of explorers’ search through a wormhole to try to find a potentially habitable planet for humanity. See Matthew McConaughey in another form and see why the former sexiest man in the world can adjust to suit any role. Being a fan of Anne Hathaway, don’t ask me what I think about her.
On a Scale of 0 – 10, this Movie is a 9.
MUSIC
LOVE ME HARDER
Ariana Grande and Weeknd
Just coming off two MTV EMA awards last weekend, Ariana Grande’s effort is being rewarded again. Though Kim Kardashian’s nude photos on the cover and inside of paper magazine have taken the shine off most entertainment gists, this track continues to maintain a top 10 spot after five weeks and this definitely has everything to do with this beautiful petite girl’s ability to make good music, don’t you agree? Will you answer and get Kim off your mind? That is if you can, though.
On a Scale of 0 – 10, this Song is a 7.8.
LOVERS ROCK
By General PYPE
General Pype as far as I am concerned has not dropped any tune since Champion that’s been below average and Lovers rock doesn’t appear like it will do any less. And for those who have not really understood the place of lovers rock in raggae, it’s time to learn one or two things from the General himself! LOVERS ROCK on repeat.
On a Scale of 0 – 10, this Song is a 5.8.
