Top music stars, from around the world, are expected in the country for the 8th edition of the ‘Corporate Elite Nite’, co-sponsored by MTN. The star-studded event holds this weekend, Sunday November 23, 2014, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
According to the telecommunications and ICT Company, a combination of American and Jamaican star artistes of the 90s, a South African duo and notable Nigerian music stars will be on stage to entertain guests.
Performing at the high value event, precisely, are the R & B quartet of 112, from Georgia, and the funk band ‘Cameo’, based in New York. The soulful Freddie Jackson, one-time recipient of the American Music Award for Favourite Soul/ R & B Single, will also be performing, alongside deep soulful house band, Micasa, from South Africa, Jamaican early 90s superstar duo, Chaka Demus & Pliers, and MTN Brand Ambassadors.
Speaking on this year’s edition of the classic event, MTN’s Chief Marketing Officer, Bayo Adekanmbi, explains that, “The Corporate Elite Nite is one of the company’s ways of creating enlivening atmosphere for its high value customers to relax and enrich their network amidst exhilarating moments of live evergreen songs from great international superstars”.
Meanwhile, dignitaries expected at the highly entertaining event include Chief Executive Officers of national and multi-national companies, high-value business executives, top government functionaries, media executives, regulatory agencies, and notable business and opinion leaders among others.
