“Rules are made to be broken”, but only guts can. Celebrities are constantly on a row to tow the ‘ideal’ prim, proper and perfect lane, nevertheless, some deviate; creating their own ideals and remaining implacable. We might not all hail their style choices, but we applaud their resilient-rebellion.
Denrele.
A.k.a mobile drama. Denrele has made a name for himself by staying true to his weird, over-the-top style, and doing so with deaf ears (he ain’t gat time for haters). Besides when your heel-game is as tight as his, your diva level better be reaching for the sky.
Di’ja.
Reminding us a bit of Twilight star, Kristen Stewart, the beautiful talented singer doesn’t play when it comes to comfort. Her love for converse sneakers transcends pairing with t-shirts and jeans to girly dresses – what heels?
Seyi Shay.
Tone down for what?? One fashion rule is; as an artist, showing respect for authority by being modest in appearance is essential (e.g. Bey meeting the Obama’s-ish). Not Seyi, she’s not changing for nobody, especially not for president Goodluck Jonathan.
Noble Igwe.
We are proud Nigerians but sometimes we get carried away by western fashion, not Noble! He doesn’t care if its a ‘black tie’ event, he’ll flaunt his native attire for the world to see, and you better be looking.
We love it when our celebrities are non-conformists; there’s nothing more fun than that.
