Ayo Makun, AY is going through a rough time at the moment as his hit movie ‘30 days in Atlanta‘ has been pirated.
The master copy of the record-breaking HD movie which is dubbed the the highest earning Nigerian movie at the Box Office, with reported gate takings of above N100 million has been allegedly stolen by a staff of Silverbird Cinemas in Lagos and being sold on the street for N500. we reliably gathered that this has caused him several prospects running into millions of naira
As we speak, the master copy has been sold to Alaba International market movie pirates for an undisclosed amount of money.
AY further said that Alaba pirates have put him in big financial trouble since major marketing outlets offering to pay him millions to market the movie have all stopped contacting him.
The case is now with the Nigeria Copyright council as his lawyers battle Silverbird to unravel the mystery behind the stolen master copies.
Silverbird Galleria officials are yet to respond to the allegations.
